Sunday, October 14, 2018: Day 9: Vilshofen and Regensburg

We slept on-board at the dock of Vilshofen last night. We got up "early" this to be ready to depart from the ship at 9:00 am. We bused back to Regensburg for our tour. It was a 90 minute bus ride to get to the city. Then we took a walking tour, had lunch, did another tour of the Palace before busing back to Vilshofen (another 90 minutes). At the end, we arrived at the ship at 6:00 pm. A long day. But, as usual, very interesting. We are only about 10 miles upstream of Passau, which we visit tomorrow.
